Building products and services on show at Hamburg trade fair

Building or purchasing a house involves all kinds of decisions ranging from the type of house i.e. detached, semi-detached house or bungalow, whether to invest in environmental compatibility or in smart home applications and legal requirements. All these issues will be addressed at home² underway from January 25-27, 2019 at the Hamburg Messe exhibition grounds. More than 15 prefabricated house manufacturers are among the exhibitors and will give information on a wide range of house types – from resource-saving wooden houses and low-threshold bungalows to “adaptive” smart homes.

Homes for every life phase

Many property owners seek barrier-free alternatives as well as an environment-friendly and healthy construction method. The large number of suppliers represented at home² shows the broad the range of products on offer. Bungalows with lowered thresholds, wider doors, flush-mounted showers and spacious areas will be presented.

Easy ways to smart home

Every fourth German citizen uses a smart home application to control lighting and heating, operate household appliances by voice or make their own four walls safer with intelligent monitoring sensors. Packages including a wide range of smart home functions, from energy-saving options to security applications will be presented at home². Visitors keen on electro mobility can learn more about electric fuel pumps that can be placed in the house, carport or garage.
