Just across the Border but easy to fly to is Brussels and my favorite Hotel there for ease of access to and from the Airport is Hotel Albert.
The 272 Bus from the Airport (every 30 minutes)stops right in front of the Hotel in the St.Marie Neighborhood of Brussels. From there it is an easy walk to the Old Town City Center or take the same Bus (272) to the North Station.
Hotel Albert offers budget comfort rooms with flat-screen cable TV opposite the Halles de Schaerbeek, only 600 m from Brussels-North Train Station. It benefits from a 24-hour front desk and has free WiFi throughout the hotel.
Each of the rooms at Albert Hotel includes a bathroom with a bath or shower and a hairdryer. The accommodation was renovated in 2016. It features rooms that are suitable for families and single travelers.
